Frederick Passy - Messenger of Peace

We learn about a noble man who dedicated his whole life to bring peace to the world and to all the nations of the world to live in peace. He was the first Frenchman to receive the 1901 Nobel Peace Prize, Frederic Passy. It is noteworthy that in the same year Henry Dunant was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for founding the All World Red Cross.Although both laid the foundation for peace there were various differences in their attitude.

War between the nations of the world is inevitable. Dunant started the Red Cross on the basis that the victims of such wars needed humanitarian assistance. But Friedrich Bassi wanted to go one step further and identify the causes of war between nations and pave the way for the elimination of wars and the establishment of peace between nations. The result was a great effort to bring together many countries that did not want war and to team up to form an international body called the Neutral Peace Nations. Let us learn about the life of that noble man who devoted almost half his life to world peace.Frederic Passy was born on May 20, 1822 in Paris. Frederick Bassi, who excelled in education, graduated with a degree in law and joined the government service at the age of 22 as a clerk. He disliked the job and worked for a few years as a journalist and economist. He later worked as an economics lecturer at a college. That same year, France, England, and Turkey joined forces to wage war on Russia. That 'Grianian War', which caused heavy casualties, greatly affected the mind of Friedrich Bassi. Not only that but there was another fact that caused him more pain.

Once upon a time there was a terrible flood in France that caused heavy casualties and heavy material loss. People who felt the damage caused by the floods took several precautionary measures to escape from it before another flood like that occurred. But the same French people, as well as the people of other countries affected, did not value the loss of life and property caused by the Grenian War as a big order. Frederick Bassi believed that the reason for that indifference was that the people and the government considered war to be inevitable. Frederick Bassi wanted humanity to take the initiative against artificial wars to protect themselves from natural disasters. So the urge arose in him to start a giant organization called the 'All World Peace Movement'.

Frederick Bossie has written numerous articles in various journals on all world peace. Spoke passionately at various public meetings. He spoke out not only with private organizations but also with other governments. In 1867 he published an article in a Paris newspaper about starting a 'Peace Society'.Within sixty days of his popular support, Paprரdric Bassi formed the French Peace Movement. He was elected secretary of the organization. In 1870, war broke out between France and Germany. Frederick Bossi made several attempts through his peace movement to prevent that war.

He not only wrote in the press but also met and held talks with government officials of the two countries several times. But it did not work. So the war broke out. The sad truth is that both countries' soldiers were ordered to shoot immediately if they saw Frederick Bossi and his members of the army fighting in good faith to prevent war.So during the war, Frederick Bassi had to remain in hiding. Once the war was over he again bravely engaged in peace work. He was elected a member of the French Parliament at the time. It laid a good foundation for him to expand his peace work. His hard work led to a peace agreement between the United States and France. In addition, Friedrich Bassi maintained good relations with other members of parliament.

In 1889, under the great efforts of Friedrich Bassi, members of parliament from France, England, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Hungary, Belgium, and the United States came together to form the Inter-Parliamentary Union, an all-world parliament. Frederick Bassi was elected one of its three leaders. The association still functions as a neutral body for resolving issues between countries. In 1890, Friedrich Bassi convened in Paris the delegates of several national associations. He called on the people to fight for peace as long as there is peace in the congregation. The result of that excellent discourse was the formation of a permanent 'Peace Headquarters' the following year.

The world hailed Frederick Bassi as the 'Ambassador of Peace' who spent almost half of his life for world peace.Due to the awareness he created, most of the countries in the world were actively involved in efforts to prevent wars. The world has expressed its gratitude to Frederick Bass, who gave his voice as an individual for world peace, by presenting him with the first Nobel Peace Prize. At the age of 79, when he received the Nobel Peace Prize, his passion for peace did not diminish. For eleven years he continued to write numerous articles and spoke at meetings about the importance of peace. The dove passed away on June 12, 1912, at the age of 90.If one voice for peace has been so beneficial, will not our world become a war-free earth if each of us strives? The thought of being the gift that Frederick Bossie's life has left us. It was the lofty desire to work for the peace of mankind and his tireless work that paved the way for Friedrich Bass to establish his policy of peaceToday more than a hundred countries are operating in the Non-Aligned Movement following the policy of Friedrich Bassi.High-mindedness, hard work and perseverance like Friedrich Bassi will help us achieve our desired goal even if we do not win the Nobel Prize.

5 Earth-like planets discovered by the Kepler telescope

Kepler is a space telescope launched by NASA into space to detect our Earth-like planet orbiting a star other than our Sun in our Milky Way galaxy. The date was launched into space. The telescope was manufactured by Ball Aerospace and Technologies. The telescope, with its built-in photometer, can calculate the luminosity of one million galaxies in about 3.5 years. Date released. Many surprising information was released.NASA has discovered 5 planets close to our star that we have not yet discovered. However, the results are likely to be one percent wrong.Later, on November 15, 2018, the memorial day of the famous astronomer Johannes Kepler, the Kepler space telescope was officially declared dead by astronauts. Each of those planets has different properties.Only 16 of them are habitable planets located in the Habitable Zone like our Earth. Some of them are Tidaly Locked by the gravitational pull of the Sun and remain motionless. Thus, there will be no climate change. Since there is no cli...
